VERY IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
FOLLOWS:
In
the best interests of our customers and Bela
Interactive staff, our engineers are trained
to carry out their work in a safe and proper
manner. They are instructed to keep in mind
the safety of the building occupants as well
as themselves. To assist us we ask you to inform
us of any known hazards our engineers may encounter
on your premises
In particular we need to be aware of any asbestos in the vicinity of the proposed
installation. (Asbestos is likely to be present in the building if it was built
or refurbished between 1950 and 1980.)
· If you are unsure whether there is asbestos on site, we must ask you
to find out before we start work.
· If you have an Asbestos Register, we request that it be checked. If
the area is clear we require a written statement to that effect, including a
copy of the relevant section of the Register.
· If there is asbestos in the area where we are to work, we need a copy
of the Register in order to plan a safe method of work.
· Our engineers are instructed not to disturb asbestos. During an installation,
if our engineers uncover any hidden material or dust that they suspect may contain
asbestos, they will stop work and will inform the premises site manager.
We would be grateful for your co-operation in order to minimise any health
risks or delay during the installation.
