Bela
Interactive Installations Ltd, established
in February 2004, is a Promethean accredited
installer and supplier of Interactive
whiteboards and projectors and other
audio visual equipment with accessories.
Prices and Payment
All
prices are in £ sterling and include
UK VAT at the appropriate rate and change
on daily basis. Delivery charges are
not included in the prices quoted. We
accept payment by most major credit and
debit cards. Payment is taken once we
have established that we can fulfil your
order, checked details and stock availability
and dispatched your goods. We do not
charge your credit or debit card until
we dispatch your order.
Delivery
We
only deliver within the mainland UK.
We cannot guarantee delivery times but
we aim to deliver within 7 working days.
Purchasing
All
items offered on our website are subject
to availability. To purchase any of the
items on our Web Site, click the "Add
to Basket" button shown on each
product page. When you place an order
to purchase a product by clicking the
button "Order Now", we will
send you an e-mail confirming receipt
of your order and containing the details
of your order. Your order represents
an offer to us to purchase a product
which is accepted by us when we send
e-mail confirmation to you that we've
accepted your order or dispatched the
product to you. The contract will be
filed. For safety reasons your order’s
data are not accessible via internet.
We keep these data in confidence according
to our privacy policy.
Cancellation
We
understand that some customers may need
to cancel orders or return products for
various reasons. Bela Interactive Ltd
policies for these circumstances are
as follows:
If
within 7 days of receipt of your product,
you determine it does not meet your needs,
you may exchange it for full credit if
you upgrade to a product that is in stock
and of equal or greater value. If not
upgrading, a 25% restocking fee will
apply. The customer is responsible for
shipping costs to have the undesired
unit shipped back to Bela Interactive
Installations Ltd. The customer is then
charged normal shipping rates to ship
new product after an upgrade is determined.
All
boxes, remotes, cabling, and documentation,
and packaging must be in new condition.
If packaging is not in original condition,
contact a Bela Interactive Installations
Ltd representative to determine additional
fees for that product.
PLEASE
NOTE: Before returning anything to us,
you first MUST obtain a Return Merchandise
Authorisation (RMA) number. Any returns
mailed to us without a pre-approved RMA
may be refused without notice and automatically
returned.

obtain a RMA, please e-mail us at office@belainteractive.co.uk
(request must contain your full name,
order number and contact phone number)
or call 07834 480769. An RMA number is
valid for 5 days.
Please
note you will be responsible for all
shipping and insurance charges for returns,
unless otherwise indicated. If you choose
not to insure your package, and we do
not accept return of the Product for
reasons stated above, you will be responsible
for any loss or damage. The purchase
price (less any applicable open box fees
or missing parts fees) will be credited
upon our acceptance of the merchandise
in as-new condition in conformity with
this policy.
Please
allow 3 business days from the time we
accept your Return Merchandise for the
processing of your return. Please allow
5-10 business days to process any refunds.
Additional charges may be assessed for
Products returned with any missing parts
and/or accessories.
After-Sales
Services and Guarantees
Each
product is fully guaranteed by the manufacturer.
The complete warranty is included with
the product. The manufacturers warranty
covers repair or replacement of defective
parts. Please see warranty information
in the user manuals. Bela Interactive
Installations Ltd does not provide any
warranty on any of the products sold.

Statutory Rights
These
Terms and Conditions do not affect any
of your statutory rights.
Installations:
Customer
Obligations – Terms and Conditions
1.
Inform Bela Interactive as soon as possible
if you need to cancel or change the installation
date. For cancelling or postponing an
installation with less than 5 working
days notice a charge of £250 for
each confirmed system install will be
imposed unless another job can be allocated
or by agreement.
2.
Ensure that the room is vacated, clear
from obstructions and available for installation
on the date agreed.
3.
Ensure that a site representative is
available to sign for the equipment and
the work completed on the installation
date.
4.
Arrange for the room and representative
to be available for a site survey prior
to installation.
5. Inform Bela Interactive of any potential health and safety risks in
the building construction.
NB: VERY IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION FOLLOWS:
In
the best interests of our customers and
Bela Interactive staff, our engineers
are trained to carry out their work in
a safe and proper manner. They are instructed
to keep in mind the safety of the building
occupants as well as themselves. To assist
us we ask you to inform us of any known
hazards our engineers may encounter on
your premises
In particular we need to be aware of any asbestos in the vicinity of the
proposed installation. (Asbestos is likely to be present in the building
if it was built or refurbished between 1950 and 1980.)
• If you are unsure whether there is asbestos on site, we must ask you
to find out before we start work.
• If you have an Asbestos Register, we request that it be checked. If the
area is clear we require a written statement to that effect, including a copy
of the relevant section of the Register.
• If there is asbestos in the area where we are to work, we need a copy
of the Register in order to plan a safe method of work.
• Our engineers are instructed not to disturb asbestos. During an installation,
if our engineers uncover any hidden material or dust that they suspect may contain
asbestos, they will stop work and will inform the premises site manager.
We would be grateful for your co-operation in order to minimise any health
risks or delay during the installation.
5. A
Bela Interactive will supply fixings and containment within the agreed
price. Consumables will also be within the agreed price but video splitters
and leads if found to be required will be charged at extra cost.
6.
Provide a suitable wall or ceiling. If
the wall and ceiling suffers from vibration
or disturbance from movement either within
or from above, this will cause the projected
image to shake. Bela Interactive will
not be held responsible for this. Bela
Interactive may decline to ceiling or
wall mount the projector if suitable
structural support are unavailable (if
site is not site surveyed in the first
instance)
7.
Provide a 240V 13-amp a.c. Electrical
mains socket at the ceiling mounting
point for the projector. The socket should
be located on the ceiling perpendicular
to the proposed centre of the Interactive
White Board as close to the projector
mounting point as possible. The exact
location of the socket will depend on
chosen projector model. This socket could
be fitted after the installation. Bela
Interactive can carry out mains electrical
installation work at extra costs and
site survey to NICEIC certification.
8. For a USB type connection and Systems with short throw projection please
provide at least one double 240V 13-amp a.c. Electrical mains socket at
a location within 1.0 metre of the Interactive Board.
9.
Provide a DVD rom capable PC or laptop
with a supported operating system Windows
XP/Vista/Win7 installed, in time for
the installation.
10. You the Customer to dispose of equipment packaging. Bela Interactive
will dispose of packaging in to any onsite skips, recycling containers
if available if not packaging will be left in a tidy manner in the room.
11. All rooms will left tidy and clean or in the condition we find them
in.
12. Non-Standard Installations (See Below). If you cannot meet any of these
requirements or wish to have the equipment installed in a different manner
to that described above, you must inform us as soon as possible before
the agreed installation date. Bela Interactive will endeavour to accommodate
any reasonable request and liaise with the client , architects or builders
on any installation, but this may incur additional cost depending on installation
type configuration.
These
conditions explain what a Standard Installation
consists of. For a Non-Standard Installation
this document does not apply.
The conditions also set out what requirements must be fulfilled by you,
the customer, so that a successful installation can be carried out.
There are five main processes that are carried out when installing a standard
Interactive Board system. These are:
I.
Installing the Interactive White Board
, Wall Mounted Flat Screen Monitors including
mount;
II. Installing the Data/Video Projector;
III. Installing the Cabling;
IV. Installing the Drivers and Software;
V. Testing and Commissioning the Installation.
I.
Installing the Interactive Board.
• Bela Interactive will wall mount the base of the board at either the
Standard height of 970mm from the floor (78” diagonal unit) or 1150mm
from the floor (64” diagonal unit) or
Medium Height of 850 mm from the floor (78” diagonal unit) or 1030mm
from the floor (64” diagonal unit) or
Low Height of 700mm from the floor (78” diagonal unit) or 880mm from
the floor (64” diagonal unit) or If you would like the board to be
higher or lower please inform installation team before the whiteboard is
fitted.
Please ensure you indicate your preference above when you return this signed
acceptance.
• The board will be fixed to the wall via four mounting brackets.
• If wall mounting is not possible then the board will require mounting
on a separate either fixed or electrical adjustable mobile stand. This will be
at extra costs for the equipment determined by site survey.
II.
Installing the Data/Video Projector ceiling
mounted.
• Bela Interactive will mount the base of the projector at a height preferably
no lower than 2.1 metres from the floor unless room conditions dictate otherwise.
• The projector is usually positioned between 2.2m and 2.8m away from the
centre of the Interactive Board. (The distance is dependant on the projector
model and board size supplied). If you have any concerns please contact Bela
Interactive on 01268 764800.
Safe projector installation is subject to suitable support being available
in the ceiling. The height and type of ceiling will determine suitability
(please refer to item 8 of customer obligations page 1). If Bela Interactive
considers a ceiling to be too high or unsuitable we will not fix to it.
Due to health and safety considerations and also the emergence of short
throw projector technology we will now only install up to 3.5meters max
high ceilings will require on wall short throw projection.
II.A
Installing the Data/Video Projector wall
mounted.
The wall if studded must of robust construction preferably solid construction
however we use specialized fixings for plasterboard type construction if
the backing is plylined with at least 18mm plywood this applies to new
build construction as well please phone us for more information existing
plasterboard walls we have to use at least one substantial fixing point
such as wooden batton spaced at either 400mm or 600mm centers. Flat screen
monitors this also applies depending on weight and size.
III.
Installing and Connecting the Cabling.
• Bela Interactive shall install data /audio leads between the mounted
projector and a surface mount data box.
• Bela Interactive shall install a USB data cable from the wall mounted
Interactive Board within containment.
• The data box shall be within 1metre either side of the Interactive Board
and situated in the same room.
a) PC Audio. Two RCA sockets providing left and right audio channels. Some
boards only require a USB connection.
b) Ancillary audio and video. Three RCA sockets providing video and left
and right audio channels
• Exiting the outlet boxes will be the following leads:
a) PC video lead (VGA plug for connection to video splitter)
• A scart to phono lead shall be provided to enable scart connection to
ancillary equipment.
• A phono to 3.5mm stereo jack lead shall be provided to enable audio connection
to a PC sound card.
• A video splitter shall be provided to allow simultaneous operation of
the projector and the PC’s monitor. This comes with a 2m VGA lead for connection
to the PC graphics card splitter at extra cost.
• Bela Interactive will connect all the leads to the customer supplied
PC and ancillary equipment. If there is no suitable PC and no ancillary equipment
available at the time of install, the customer must connect the leads themselves.
• The customers own PC and other ancillary equipment (e.g. VCR) should
be positioned within 2 metres of the outlet box, on a desk or other customer
supplied furniture.
• All cabling shall be enclosed in plastic surface containment and, if
available, the room ceiling void.
IV.
Installing the Drivers and Software.
• Bela Interactive will install the Interactive Board driver/software on
a customer supplied PC or Laptop Bela Interactive cannot accept responsibility
for configuration and/or installation of any other aspect of customer’s
PC.
• If there is no PC provided on the day of the installation, then the customers
must install the drivers /software themselves. If you require a later visit there
will be a charge for this.
• IIA. Promethean boards only.
• Promethean Activ Inspire software is now downloadable for free this is
the customer’s responsibility.
• Bela Interactive can provide a fully licensed hard copy of Activ Inspire
software for £300 per board.

V.
Testing and Commissioning the Installation.
• Bela Interactive engineers shall usually test the completed installation
whilst the customer is present providing there is power on site with a short
instruction on using the equipment advanced training can be provided for at extra
cost please phone for details.
• Testing shall be carried out by reference to the checklist on the ‘Installation
Sign-off Form.’
• Any problems that cannot be resolved shall be noted on the sign-off form.
• Notes on the sign-off form will include any further action required as
agreed between the customer and the installation engineer.
• Once completed the engineer and the customer must both sign the sign-off
form.
• Payment 30 days from completed sign off form or by completed installation
date.
